Inspired by the Salvador Dali masterpiece 'Christ of Saint John Of The Cross', this piece depicts spiritual connotations without being specific about a god or religious movement. The piece is intended to convey spiritual freedom being released, whichever religion, not specific connotations with the Christian belief of God ascending to heaven. Also, much in the same way as Dali's painting, there is no indication of the observers position in space; are you in space standing on something, in a capsule, on earth looking up, standing on a ladder....?
